Stronger Together – Community organisations merge for resilience and better impact

A new film depicting the journey of three Bristol-based community organisations has been released by Eastside Community Trust.

Eastside Community Trust has been formed from the merger of Up Our Street, Felix Road Adventure Playground and Easton Community Centre. Each of the individual organisations wanted to become sustainable for the future and have more impact in their area. The merger has allowed them to become increasingly creative and to deliver further support to their communities.

A trailer plus a full 12-minute version of the film is available HERE, plus a document “The Good Merger Guide” is available upon request.

“Small charities that merge into medium-size ones are in a stronger financial position and can deliver a broader, better coordinated, and more creative service to their community”
